Note: The due dates are now 1 week later than on the syllabus - you will need to complete the work from our in class (no WiFi) session by 06/11.

Homework from our class session: 
1.  Set up your Google + personal page (profile = what you want to be know for)
2. Practice in your blog - text link + video embed - 
  • auto share your post to your G+ account
3. Take a screenshot of your Google alerts results + post in your blog
  •  auto share your post to your G+ account
4. Set up your Twitter account - use # + keywords to find people to follow

5. Take a screenshot of your Twitter feed + post in your blog
 

Quiz Details - 40% of your grade for the course
  • Each week you will have an assigned video or presentation to view
  • After viewing, click on the 'quiz link' - in this blog
  • The quiz has to be completed by the due date - read syllabus
  • The quiz can only be taken once - if you access the quiz, you need to complete it then.
  • There are only 5 questions - you have 1 hour to complete, then the quiz is closed
  • You can not go back and change an answer
  • The quiz is 'open book' - you may keep the presentation open + review it while taking the quiz
  • Problems/questions can be posted in the MBA 1 Google Plus Community - anyone can answer + the class monitor will check on the day before the due date.
 Blog Post Standards 

Blog posts = 40% of your grade - to get a good grade on your posts, follow these professional guidelines:
  • Posts need to be completed by the due date...also, click 'share' to post to G+ Community
  • Post Title = URL of link - use # + a key word 
  • Posts = short sentences or bullet point - NO Copy Paste 

  • Engage/start a conversation - write about the IMPACT of what you have just read or seen.
    • A description of 'what is' is NOT MBA level work
  •  Text link to the article or source of your information
  • Cite 2 additional resources to support your point of view
  • Include an image or video
  • Write in your own voice - think = 'how would I like a future employer to see this" 
  • Example - fun hotel group blog
